On Monday 24th October, 20 members of Kinetika Bloco made their way to Alleyn’s School in Dulwich to take part in Word Up! Festival.  We had a great time performing at the start of the day and then Mat Fox and the Bloco members led a workshop with 40 children aged 5-11 years old and a few very brave parents!!

In 90 minutes they learnt 2 pieces of music which we then performed to the rest of the audience at the festival.  The sun was out and it was beautiful to see our young people using the skills they have learnt to help little children get a brand new experience.  One local parent said she wished we delivered workshops like this every week….so watch this space!
