My 3^rd year with the Bloco and I remember it like it was yesterday! This was a good year of music. Taking inspiration from Brasil, we played some funky tunes, it may have even been the first outing of the infamous 6/8’s groove (LOL) and sung a little…hmmm, how did it go again? “Echoes of Palmares, we’ll show you the way, any time of day…”
