We launched the Youth Music Funded Bloco Masters Programme yesterday with a workshop with 66 Bloco members at St Gabriel’s college in Brixton.  Drummers, Steel pan players, musicians and dancers gathered together to prepare for our forthcoming Bloco performances and kick off the Bloco Masters Programme. BM will enable us to bring together our young people each month to work together to progress their musical talent individually and as a whole band.  It also gives us the opportunity to invite Visiting International and Local inspirational musicians to deliver a masterclass with us to help us develop and explore different musical ideas and styles as a band.

BM is funded by Youth Music and will cost participants £25 for the full year, with subsidised places available.  If you are interested in joining you still have time, go to the join us page and fill in the form.
