This January we kicked off the Bloco Leadership Programme with 18 young Bloco Members who are serious about taking a leadership role in life and within the Bloco.  This is the development of our Trainee Programme and is going to give us a chance to work with our Bloco Forum Members and Trainees in order to develop them as rounded young leaders who can not only lead a dance or drumming workshop but can inspire other young people to better themselves socially, educationally, culturally and artistically.

We are honoured to have Adie Shariff, a Performance Psychologist with over 17 years experience of personal and organisational development consultancy, facilitate the course www.hayesshariff.com. He facilitated a great Kick Off with everyone getting excited about the programme and what they want to get out of it, including our Board Member, Grace Christie, Development Manager at ICAEW, who initiated the idea in the first place.

The next sessions take place on 13th and 14th February when we will be working with actors to further explore the Practical Basics; Turning on the Charm and Leading by Example
