We are a part of the BP Family Festival: Play the Gallery on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th February at the Tate Britain. We will certainly be "playing" in the gallery as we do a couple of little promenade performances at 1pm and 3.15pm. We will start at the top of the staircase and take you on a little wander through the gallery. Come down for the whole day as there are lots of different activities going on, check their website for details. http://www.tate.org.uk/whats-on/tate-britain/festival/bp-family-festival-play-gallery
We have a free half term workshop in October, 26-29th, at Croydon Clocktower. We are looking for young people aged 10-18 to come and join us and play / learn drums, steel pans, brass or woodwind. You'll create a performance together for the CYAC youth arts takeover. Sign up on the Join Us Page.
We are so excited for our second Kinetika Bloco Junior Summer School coming up 25-28th July. It's free, includes dance this year and will be hosted at one of our partner schools: Holy Trinity CE Primary School in Tulse Hill. It's going to be so much fun so don't miss out, come and join us and start your Kinetika Bloco journey! Did we say it's FREE?!?! Sign up at www.kinetikabloco.co.uk/join-us
This year we celebrate 15 years of Kinetika Bloco with a Summer School which will be bigger and better than ever before - mainly because you will be there to celebrate with us. So don't miss out. You can sign up today on the Join Us page, and come and celebrate with us. We will be playing a mixture of old classics and some new original compositions from people within the band. 1st - 12th August, Royal Festival Hall
Kinetika Bloco have had a brilliant half-term making some brilliant music with the young and talented musicians from Archbishop Sumner primary school and other neighbouring schools in a course called Colour of Sound.
We are reminiscing about the Summer watching Bestival's Carnival film. Check us out in the sunshine! We are hoping to be back on the lovely Isle of Wight this year for some more music festival fun.
